decent tool
4I received the product complimentary from Amika in exchange for a review. I really love the design of this new brush - very easy to use and the three settings to pick from gives a good range of choices. I didn't notice a drastic smoothing effect with this blow dryer brush though, so while it was convenient to have the brush and blow dryer in the same tool, for my hair type it wasn't a must-have.

Amazing!!
5OMG!!! I am soo excited to do my hair now with this Amika 2-1 styling brush!! My hair is naturally wavy, with no real curl pattern. Not to mention i live in florida so my hair never stays sleek. With this brush, I can literally go from freshly washed, wet hair to sleek, silky, straight hair that lasts all week!!! Highly impressed!

So easy to use
5I just love this and is something everyone should have as one of their tools. It's convenient that it's a 2-1 tool. It not only cuts my drying time in half, but my hair doesn't feel dry or damaged. I love that you can customize the functions to fit my need by selecting the either the blow dryer or thermal brush or use both simultaneously. My hair looks sleek and has such a soft touch to it without any frizz.

Purple chic
5The packaging it comes in is so pretty and purple it's very chic! I used this on my towel dried hair after a shower. It didn't take long to turn on and the settings are very easy to understand! It was fast drying and straining of my hair and it was so smooth! I'd recommend! Great job!!

5I love multitasking products, so this 2-in-1 Double Agent straightening blow dryer brush has become my ally, my hair looks amazing in minutes, the results are fantastic, it straightened my hair super easy and quickly. The three settings are so convenient for me, my hair looks smooth, frizz-free and shiny! I love it! It would be amazing to have a travel size!

Thin Hair Type
4It dried my hair quickly but didn't straighten my hair as nicely as a round brush blow-drier. I would use this again for an easy quick straighten but my hair needs more volume so I prefer the round brush or another heat styling tool that can help with volume.

Amazing in Smooth Hair
5I am always a fan of their products, and this blow dryer brush did not disappoint. It makes my hair look less frizzy, and very smooth. I love to use this every time I wash my hair. So happy to have this be gifted by amika!

Amazing
5I'm always looking for ways to leave my hair very silky while also adding volume. This is my first time using this and I'm totally amazed with my results that I got. This also helps to minimize my frizz on my hair and it dries my hair very fast. I love how I can also change up the settings while using this. Gifted by Amika

Review on two hair types
5This is a fantastically well-designed thermal brush that effectively blow dries hair. SO nice to find a good multipurpose brush! I was kindly gifted this by Amika and in my review, I want to share how this works and discuss usage on two hair types First off, I will say I felt a smidge confused upon unboxing this. The directions could be a bit more clear, but I was able to figure it out quickly enough. Once plugged in, you flip the switch to the right once for low heat/air. Click it over again for high heat/air. One more click is your thermal brush. So obviously you could use that 3rd setting on dry hair or choose one of the first two for drying and styling at the same time. Now for hair types: I have straight hair but I blow dry it after every shower. This has simplified my life tremendously as I no longer have to hold the blower in one hand and a brush in the other. I will still offer a tip in case you have tangle-prone hair (as I do): I use a detangling brush first. I tried to go without it, but I didn't like the sensation of the heated brush catching my tangles. However, after running the detangler through, this works perfectly. I was nervous that it would burn my scalp as my hair is fine, but it did not! On my partner's wavy/thick hair, I think this was an even more instantaneous love. While you do have to brush it through a few more times than using a flat iron (meaning more passes, not more time), the entire process is still much faster, and her hair came out sleek and straight, but still looking healthy and non-damaged! We both love the feel of this tool in our hands, and appreciate that it's appearance is aesthetically pleasing. It's not clunky and is something you'll appreciate seeing in your bathroom. Excellent overall, would definitely recommend!
