- towel or air dry hair so it's damp, not wet. heat protect and detangle hair.
- select your setting by twisting handle to the right. glide brush through hair section by section, making sure you're not applying the bristles directly onto scalp.
- for a sleeker look, use the 3rd setting until you have desired results.

Quite heavy
It takes longer time to dry my hair compared to the one I use. It's quite heavy and the straighter temperature is not that high it takes more than one pass to straight my hair(my hair type is wavy).Â

I love my Double Agent!
I got my Double Agent blow dryer and straightening brush for Mother's Day 2 years ago, after I had tried my daughter's blow dryer and straightening brush when I was staying with her. I liked it so much I put a bug in her ear about either asking my husband to get it for me, or if she wanted to go in with him. I've used it ever since, on my curly hair. It's so much easier and faster to dry my hair straight. I never bothered to try to do it before, it was too much work with a dryer and a straightening iron, and I have arthritis in my hands and wrists. So I just let it go curly, which everyone complimented, but it aged me. As my husband put it, I looked like a little old lady when I let it go curly. I love how it only takes me about 7 minutes to dry and style my hair, instead of 20, and with only using one tool! My hair comes out shiny and moves freely, something that never happens when it's curly. Plus the colors come through better when I use the Double Trouble. And, I can use a brush! Never can brush it when it's curly, it just turns it to frizz, lol! My hair takes to whatever you do to with it using the Double Agent. I was amazed at how long the straight hair lasted! Even in wet conditions, it didn't get frizzy. I don't use hairspray, only a nourishing oil like argon oil, or a mousse on the bottom half of my hair. I only was my hair around once a week, using dry shampoo in between as needed. (If I have to leave the house, lol) The only thing I would like to have, and would suggest to Amika, is a tool that you can use different heads on it. I would like the round brush to put a little volume at the top of my head, and maybe some wavy curls for special occasions. I can't afford to by 2 (or more) dryers/brushes, so this seems like a perfect solution to me! I would bet other people would love it too.

This is a GAME CHANGER
I got what I believe might be a previous model of the Double Agent for free after spending a certain amount on Amika. It took me a minute to figure out how it worked, but once I got the hang of it, it has completely changed my styling game and I will NEVER go back to my previous routine! Amika has an incredible tool here, it has saved me time from having to blow dry and then wait for my straightener to heat up just to finish my routine. When I went into work after using it for the first time, I got so many compliments and coworkers asking if I had gotten my hair done. I will never use anything else but the Double Agent ever again and I cannot recommend it enough!!
