Love love it !!!
5So I have the finest hair ever and live in an area with the softest water ! Would describe my hair upon drying is like fluff but I am fortunate to have curl in it so started using hot air styling brushes around 5 years ago . My first being the big hair from Babyliss with an annoying button that grabbed your hair and retailed then at £84 . Since then I have used mostly cheap that always break , as so much of my fine hair gets in the motor and they start smelling and then die . I’d seen the reviews for this brush and thought I’d splash out . Got it at a good price as I had blue light discount. When it arrived I thought look at this solid piece of kit , everything I wanted and needed to control my fly away shoulder length hair . All I can say is it’s been a game changer and I now look forward to drying my hair ! It’s chunky but light , not too noisy and my hair responds so well to huge bouncy not fluffy waves . Thankyou Amika for doing so well . I can now go out just after washing it , without having to wait a day or two for my hair to bind , I’m chuffed to bits with it !

So fab
5Honestly this tool is so good. I suck at hairstyling and this makes it so easy. Takes a while but it works!! Loads of people have complimented me on my hair since I’ve been using it - sometimes days after I styled it!! And my hair is long and thick!

5Just what I needed! A thermal brush for the days in between blowdrying. Getting a bit old to be washing and styling every day, so this is perfect for bringing the bounce back to bedhead hair.

Great for thin, fine hair
5It takes a lot to give my thin, fine hair some body, and this does the job well! My hair is soft and shiny after I'm finished. I would definitely recommend this to someone with my hair type.

Cheap Quality
1I LOVE amika products but I was shocked by the quality of this tool! I am very disappointed with the Blowout Thermal Brush. I have thin hair and the thermal brush gave my hair volume, it made my hair look amazing! But, after a few weeks, the bristles started to fall out and by 3 months the tool has no bristles left! I wanted to return it but I didn't keep my receipt. I didn't think I would need my receipt because of amika products being high-quality products. I am so disappointed!

Waste of money
1I am super bummed about this purchase. The advertising is incredibly misleading about the results you get. 1) This is not a blow drying brush and 2) it has zero grip and heat to even attempt to style. It does notttttttt work like the videos and pictures at all. Do not buy.

Amika should be embarrassed to sell this.
1I can't believe how cheaply this product is made compared to the price tag. If I'd bought it at a discount store for $20 I'd have still thought it was kind of a waste of money, but would at least be less salty about it. Problems: -Sad bristles The bristles have absolutely no density to them. Some of the giant holes in the barrel only have one or two bristles in them, and it's not enough to properly grab your hair to hold it against the barrel. My hair is fine and this won't grab it at all. -Uneven heating The barrel is cheap metal and definitely has hot spots. If you actually could get the brush to grab your hair, I'm afraid it would burn it. -Sad cord The cord on this is disappointing. It feels like a cheap lamp cord from the 50's. Very thin. This is always worrisome on hair tools since they tend to draw a lot of current, but also because they tend to break internally and cause the whole thing to fail. That is, if it worked in the first place. Also it has a swivel, but the swivel is poorly designed so unless you're holding the brush at a specific angle it won't twirl. -Overall poor quality So let's say this buddy worked and didn't singe your hair off or melt its own cord in the process. It still feels. So. Cheap. I recently ordered some hair products and got a free beachwaver as a GWP and it feels leagues more well-made than this does. When I say cheap I mean that I'm afraid when I slide the button that it's just going to fall off, or that if the unit rolled off my counter that it would shatter. So, overall extremely disappointed. I'm honestly never going to buy another Amika tool after this as I just can't trust I'll receive a product worth the price.
