BLOCKADE, My Hair's New Best Friend
5I was using another leading foam product for volume but it contained more water than foam. It was time to move forward and give my hair some respect. In the interim, my hairdresser had introduced me to Blockade Hair Defense by Amika. I liked the way my hair looked and a few weeks ago I purchased the product. What impressed me the most was the way it glides on when working it through my hair. The shine is insane. Blockade can be used to on dry hair to tame flyaways but I use it on damp hair for which it was intended. I still need volume and I will share that saga on my next review. Thank you, Amika, for happy, healthy hair.

Silky and Safe
5This left my hair silky and soft to the touch, and the smell is always outstanding. I heat style my hair often and my ends were noticeably less frazzled with the use of this serum.

5Other than the obvious yummy smell, this serum works beautifully to protect my colored locks from blow drying and flat ironing! Definitely a recommended product (among many amika products)

Love this stuff!!
4I used to use Silk Infusion by CHI for my heat defense serum. My sister in law (who is a hairdresser) told me about the Amika products. She has used it and said they smelled sooo good, so I went for it! My oh my! This stuff is great and the smell is wonderful too! I just wish it was a squeeze bottle vs a glass bottle with a pump.
