I have course hair and it's longer than I'm use to. But wasn't sure how this will work for me but I gave it a shot and also used the conditioner. I can't believe how soft and smooth my hair felt after using this. I also did purchase the hair balm from a beauty store to try it out on top of shampoo/conditioner set. This whole set really works. This is a winner for making any course hair feel softer.
