Very very hot
3I wish I could control the heat temp on this tool, it’s just and on/off switch. The brush get very hot... too hot for my finer hair.

Awesome brush!!
5Before I bought this I only used my straightening iron but I’m never going back! This brush takes under a minute to heat up, straightens my thick hair in under 10 minutes and reduces frizz so much! It’s such a life saver. Can’t wait to try more products!

Fantastic styling tool
5I love this straightening brush. Styling my hair is always a hassle. My hair is long and thick so blow drying takes forever. Its also pretty wavy/curly so I have to use a straightening iron for the style to look polished and complete. It just takes too long. Not with the Amika straightening brush. What I love about it is the ease of use. I wash my hair in the evening and by morning its dry. I put product in and then begin using the brush. I do not have to separate my hair into sections. It does not flatten my hair at the skull like a flat iron. Using the brush I am able to maintain volume all around my crown. This lets me hold the style for at least 3 days, using a dry shampoo to refresh. With a flat iron my hair is just too flat and begins to look greasy (even though it is not) after 1-2 days. I also like how easy it is for me to add small flip or curl at the ends. I just have not been able to master that technique with a flat iron. With the Amika straightening brush its very easy for me to brush a little flip into the ends. This hides my dry ends a bit and gives an overall more polished look. Touch ups are a breeze. Just turn on to desired temp and brush your hair. My only criticism is that it doesn't beep or notify you once its reached the desired temperature setting. That being said, it heats up super fast. For someone who hates doing their hair and who has also never mastered blow drying or flat ironing, this is perfect. I'm able to achieve a styled look quickly. I've had the brush for about 3 weeks and have used it consistently. For me it has been a godsend.

Great straightening brush!
5I use it in the morning to straighten out my messed up frizzy sleepy hair. It works great! My only regret is that I didn't buy it sooner!
