Straight but not bone straight
3This is really a convenient tool to have. I have wavy/curly hair and it definitely gets my hair straight after 2 strokes. I also like my hair bone straight and this unfortunately does not give me the exact look I'm going for. I will still use this to straighten my hair but I will go over my hair with a flat iron to get my finished look.

Mini Straightening Brush
5I have really long, fine, thin hair. I don't like dragging out my straightener all the time. All I have to do is run this through my hair and I'm done! Quick and easy! Not to mention it's travel size! Love it!

Warning for those w/ very thick hair!!
4Pros: Heats up very quickly. Straightens perfectly. Not too big. Not to small. Very simple to operate. Cons: I have very thick and dense hair so I have to separate my hair into two layers. Then I have straighten the under layer first followed by the outer layer once the under layer has cooled. Because of how much hair I have (density) & it’s thickness, when I finished up by gently running the straightener through my hair as if I’m brushing it, the outer ring of bristles (unheated part of the straighter) has bent significantly! I give the straighter a maximum of 10 more uses before the outer plastic bristles become completely useless, or fall out. I’ll still use it though. That said, I really wish hair product companies would incorporate very thick and dense caucasian, Latina, Indian, & Asian hair in the design and testing of styling tools. (I only left out African-American hair because there are so many options out there, with new things being developed all the time specifically for A-A hair. I hope to god I haven’t offended anyone who reads this!) Final thoughts: I would pay a few more dollars for a straightening brush that wouldn’t be defeated by my hair. Otherwise, I absolutely love how well it straightens! I’m an amika junkie, so I own every product that works well in my odd hair... and I’m obsessed with each one!!

Nice addition to my hair arsenal
5I got this on sale and I wasn’t sure I’d like it but I’m glad I bought it. It’s great for days when I’m short on time and don’t have time to fully flat iron. It is mini size so don’t be shocked when it isn’t as big as you may have expected. You have to be careful not to accidentally click the power button because it’s easy to move it while using the brush. But for the price you can’t beat it. It’s become essential for when I’m running late.

4I have pretty long wavy hair and i’ve owned a straight brush once before they didn’t really give me good results, so I was pretty excited when I saw that Amika was having the 40% off sale, I got a small shipping delay but I tried it the first day I had it and ended up really liking it it didn’t get my hair pin straight but it looked more like I had a fresh blow dry with a little bit a body to it which was really cool because I knew it would last a couple days in between washing again and not get completely flat to my head. I think for someone with curly your hair I got really good results out of it but if you had already sent my straight hair you probably get a pin straight result which is nice. I would totally recommend this product though, it’s easy to use and would be good for even like a “tweenâ€

4Really like that I don’t have to use both a brush and straightener. My hair is naturally curly so using a normal straightener does straighten it a bit more but using this gets it pretty close!
