great for intense colors
5I live in an area where there is a LOT of chlorine in the water. I have a special filter on my shower head but still had the quick fade on my fuschia, pink and titanium hair. Then I discovered Amika! Problem solved!

Great investment!
5Love this product! This is the first time I’ve actually invested in retaining the color of my hair and I’m so glad I did. Typically by the second week I can tell that it’s faded a bit, but My color hasn’t faded at all! Highly recommend!

Pointless
1I wash my hair in cold water, and this didn’t seem to make any difference. Color still runs out of my hair at same potency with or without this product. Probably won’t bother buying again.

Really works
5I was too lazy to use this one time and I regret not using it that one time! If you color your hair, buy this! It definitely helps keep the color in. I will never wash my hair without using this first ever again!!!

Fade block definitely prolongs the
4Fade block definitely prolongs the presence of color in your hair, but the only complaint I would have is that your hair does not feel fully washed after using it. Other than that, great product that has kept my purple, blue, pink, and green locks looking vibrant for twice as long.

Color Lock Pre-Shampoo Treatment
5I just dyed my hair a funky color for the first time and was super concerned about the color fading. amika relieved my worries!!! It's summertime, so I tend to shower/wash my hair way more often, and I have to say that my hair color is lasting WAY longer than it should be. I'm so happy with their color lock collection!
