I was honestly skeptical to use a mask that stays on for 5 minutes because my hair turns purple whenever I use a purple shampoo. I finally came cross Amika's purple shampoo and my hair doesn't change color with one use, so when the mask popped up as a free sample, I was a little less skeptical. I've used it twice so far and no concerns! I feel like it's a bit more effective then the regular Bust Your Brass Shampoo

I’ve used many different toning masks and this one is by far the best so far. It has a nice deep purple tone along with great ingredients similar to their Kure mask to fight damage. It leaves my hair feeling soft, nourished and free of any yellow tones. I highly recommend!
